Edge is the only remaining member of the original lineup of the band, which scored its first hit with "Go Now" in 1965. Bon Jovi have responded to the news that they are to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame next year.

In response, they claimed that Carey hadn't put enough time into rehearsing her set and saying that she showed up unprepared for her performance that evening.

Additionally, Carey made the announcement on Twitter, and jokingly posted: "Take 2". Her team said Carey could not hear anything coming from her earpiece. A Congressional Award recipient, Mariah has generously donated her time and energy to a range of philanthropic causes near to her heart including Save the Music, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, World Hunger Relief, and the Elton John AIDS Foundation, among many others. Have a happy and healthy new year everybody!
