Markle, alongside Prince Harry, were accompanied by more than 50 royal family members on Wednesday, including the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall and Queen Elizabeth at Buckingham Palace.
The images, which were taken by Harper's Bazaar regular photographer Alexi Lubomirski, feature a close-up shot, as well as another where the two are sat down.
Along with the photo, a message read: "Thank you so much for all of the wonderful comments following the release of Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle's engagement photographs".
Prince Harry, 33, and Meghan Markle, 36, got engaged on November 27, and a wedding date and a wedding venue have already been confirmed. Kensington Palace said Thursday that the photos were shot earlier this week at Frogmore House, a royal retreat near Windsor castle in the UK's Berkshire County.
Another snap shows Meghan linking arms with Harry, while holding on to his other hand with barely an inch between them.

Wang referred to what he described as trespassing by Indian troops in the Donglang (Doklam) sector near the Sikkim border in June, and said the incident had strained bilateral ties.

The sheer top features embroidery of leaf-like motifs and the ruffled black skirt pulls the look together with a touch of drama. The engagement photos come one day after Meghan's first royal family traditional Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace.
The couple will be getting married on 19 May at St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.
