Bloomington Police Department, 305 S. East St.

The event will be held at Southgate Mall from 10 a.m.to 2 p.m.

On Saturday, the public can bring their pills for disposal to the following sites: Gloversville Police Department lobby, Fulton County Sheriffs Department, Gloversville Rite Aid, Gloversville CVS, Walmart Pharmacy in Gloversville and Price Chopper Pharmacy in Johnstown.

The department asks that you avoid dropping off any needles or liquids and any unwanted pills should be put in a clear sealable bag. "You could be a drug dealer and not even know it".

For the initial record attempt, the Bloodhound will use a single monopropellant rocket which can produce around 40kN of thrust. Green was the first man to break the sound barrier in a vehicle in 1997, when he hit 763.035 in the Thrust SSC.

The goal of the day is to get unused prescription drugs and pills off the streets and properly disposed of. This was the highest collection to date for the Pacific Northwest. This was a record collection number for the state. We encourage citizens to clean out their medicine cabinets and turn in old and used prescription drugs so they can be disposed of safely.

"More people start down the path of addiction through the misuse of opioid prescription drugs than any other substance", Patterson said. There are several ways to dispose of prescription drugs in Onondaga County. The study shows that a majority of abused prescription drugs were obtained from family and friends, often from the home medicine cabinet.

Missoula residents will be able to dispose of unused or unneeded prescription medication at a Prescription Drug Take-Back Day this Saturday.
