Tomorrow will be dry and sunny with highs in the mid-upper 80s.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 84. Highs will be in the lower 90s with heat index values up to 105. The greatest likelihood of severe weather is west of Route 495.

Sunday we start to make the turn toward quieter weather. A very weak front will be pushing through late Sunday afternoon from the north.

That trough will hang around on Monday and Tuesday, so each day there could be an afternoon or evening shower or storm. But the continuous threat of downpours and storms could really add up over time. However, with all the moisture in the atmosphere from the rain the past couple days scattered showers and storms will be a possible during the afternoon due to the heating of the day. Isolated afternoon thunderstorms are likely as the next system crosses through the area. If that front can get through the state, there are signs that next Saturday could be mainly dry and seasonable.
