Miyamoto also spoke a bit about Nintendo's special partnership with Ubisoft.

Ubisoft announced on Monday during their media presentation that they are teaming up with Nintendo to bring a new game to the Switch. The game was introduced by Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto himself, and was given a release date of August 29.

Yeah, we knew it was going to happen but it's official! But it did have a new trailer to show, which you can watch above.

Ubisoft unveiled Transference, a new psychological VR thriller from Elijah Wood's film production company Spectrevision, and Ubisoft Montreal's Fun House. It launches in Spring 2018. When entering a battle, the game switches from exploration mode to a limited area where they can fight take strategic positions and fight enemies. You can definitely see some inspiration.

After the conference, Grant Kirkhope revealed on Twitter that he is composing the Mario + Rabbids soundtrack, adding it to his list of games like Banjo-Kazooie.

Starlink will hit the Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One during Fall 2018.
