Comey's associates told reporters that he tried to avoid directly interacting with Trump months ago, and that he did not appreciate it when the president singled him out and pulled him in for a hug during a gathering.

Hillary Clinton 's presidential debate preparation included practicing - unsuccessfully - avoiding getting hugged by a grabby Donald Trump stand-in, a video posted Friday reveals.

"Not easy to avoid the unwanted Trump hug, sometimes it even takes practice", Philippe Reines posted Friday alongside a video where Clinton confronted a fake Trump.

The video shows Clinton on September 24 walking out on a mock stage to greet a man playing the Republican nominee Trump for the prep session for the debate, which was being held two days later at Hofstra University on Long Island, New York. "A favorite moment from debate prep". At least it looks like she had just as much fun preparing for the presidential debates as she had actually debating on the world stage!

But Clinton demurs, instead making do with a firm handshake. He continues to try to hug her and she walks toward the debate podium.

While traders and analysts doubt producers sticking to a prolonged cutback, the strong wording of the announcement had an impact on the market.

Clinton also chimed in on Reines' tweet.

Sound familiar? Just last night, the New York Times published a story with remarkable details about former FBI Director James B. Comey's interactions with President Trump.

"Comey said that as he was walking across the room he was determined that there wasn't going to be a hug", Mr. Wittes said.

'Comey was disgusted. He regarded the episode as a physical attempt to show closeness and warmth in a fashion calculated to compromise him before Democrats who already mistrusted him, ' Wittes wrote.
