Chelsea celebrate title with Watford romp

Chelsea captain John Terry insists that he has enjoyed the current campaign, despite only playing a bit-part role in the club's Premier League title triumph.

"It depends, if the right offer comes along I will sit down and consider it with my family - whether that is here, abroad, or wherever that may be."

He said: "I never wanted to be that player hanging about that people couldn't wait to get rid of or stopping to progress of a younger player coming through".

Terry, Chelsea's emblematic skipper, will end his 22-year association with the club at the end of the season and seems certain to start at least one of their final two games.

"He has been brilliant with me", Terry added.

There is probably a good chance, given the respect between the pair, that they will settle for the best of both worlds by standing side by side and lifting the trophy together.
