What time: The induction ceremony is April 7 at the Barclays Center in New York City. The band is slated to perform three songs: "Lights", "Separate Ways" and "Don't Stop Believin'" with Perry on vox for at least one of the songs. Members of Journey have also confirmed that Perry will be there, but were vague as to whether or not he will be performing with them on stage.

"We haven't spoken in years, physically". Perry, guitarist Neal Schon, keyboardist Jonathan Cain, bassist Ross Valory, drummer Steve Smith and vocalist Arnel Pineda will be inducted.

Perry might even team up for a song or two with the band when it performs later in the evening, TMZ is reporting. We did communicate a couple of years ago via email.

Perry left the group just a year after its 1986 album, "Raised on Radio", rose to No. 4 on the Billboard chart. Perry doesn't seem to have any kind of insurmountable beef with with his old group, though and it seems like he'll be joining them onstage for their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame tonight. Along with Journey and Yes, this year's class includes Pearl Jam (inducted by David Letterman), Tupac (inducted by Snoop Dogg), Joan Baez (inducted by Jackson Browne), and ELO (inducted by Dhani Harrison).

Journey will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame by Train lead singer, Pat Monahan.
